Human primary cytotrophoblasts, CTBPRO2™, isolated from full-term placenta after healthy births are one of the cell types comprising the maternal-fetal barrier. These cells, isolated using a proprietary method, are the better alternative to immortalized placental cell lines in NAMs and organoid/spheroid models. CTBPRO2 cells are positive for CD49f/ITGA6, HLA-G and Cytokeratin-7 and negative for CD45.
